Eric is the Communications Director for the Central New York Labor Council. He manages all external communications for CNYLC including press relations, social media development, messaging development, policy statements, event marketing, and general strategic planning.
As a native of New Jersey, Eric has had experience in campaigns and government at the federal, state, county, and local government. He worked for Bergen County Freeholder Germaine M. Ortiz for over two years, managing her social media accounts. Most recently, he spent a semester in Washington D.C., working as a Communications Intern at Public Citizen, a progressive think-tank and advocacy group.
He is currently pursuing a B.A. in History, minors in Government and Music, at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. He has two years of experience working in the Communications Office, helping with media relations and writing content for Hamilton Magazine.
Eric is involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. He is a staff writer for The Spectator, Hamilton College's student-run news publication. He is most proud of the multi-part series he wrote covering the contract negotiations between SEIU Local 200 and the Hamilton College administration. He is a class representative and chair of the Academic, Enrollment, and Development (AED) Committee of Student Assembly, He previously served as SA President, Vice President, and Secretary, and chair of the Facilities, Residential Life, Safety, and Health (FRSH) Committee.
In Eric's free time, he plays trumpet in his college and local community bands.
