Utica, N.Y. - The Central New York Labor Council will be holding a demonstration at the Syracuse district offices of U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.
What: Demonstration to showcase constituent support for the PRO Act. Labor members also want to thank Senators Schumer and Gillibrand for cosponsoring and advocating for the PRO Act.
Who: Delegates of the Central New York Labor Council and members of the 38 local labor affiliates part of the labor council.

When:
10 am: Depart for Syracuse from CNYLC office (287 Genesee Street, Utica )
11 am: Arrive at the district office of Senator Gillibrand (James M. Hanley Federal Office Building at 100 S Clinton Street, Syracuse, NY 1302)
Deliver PRO Act cards to district offices. Speak to office staffers and elected officials.
11:30 am: Arrive at the district office of Senator Schumer
11:50: Photo outside of the James M. Hanley Federal Office Building w/Pro Act posters
12 pm: Return to Utica
Why: The PRO Act will expand worker’s rights to organize and fight for better lives. Although the bill has stalled in the Senate, Senators Schumer and Gillibrand are constant advocates within their caucus for worker’s rights.
