UFCW Local One and Central New York Labor Council came together to sponsor a food drive in an effort to Stamp Out Hunger on May 11th. This event was hosted at Chanatry’s Hometown Market, a family owned grocery store. Chanatry’s is also our official union store. More than 730 lbs of non-perishable food items were collected, thanks to the generosity of union members, their families, and the community. These items will be donated to area food pantries in hopes to eradicate hunger in our hometown.
